Livin' It Up In Kentucky

So it's been a little while since my last post. Partially because my stinking work won't let us access blogs anymore from the office. So I can't post anything until I get home from work. And that usually doesn't happen because I get sidetracked as soon as I drive away from my office. I've also been a little M.I.A. because Curtis (mentioned in many of my previous blog posts) broke up with me a couple weeks ago and I have been preoccupied with dealing with that. FUN!

Luckily...I was able to come out to Kentucky to spend some time with my family. My work is flexible enough that I can work from my office out here in Kentucky. It has been nice to get away from the social scene and just be able to spend time with the family.

The best part about being out here is getting to chill with my nieces and nephews. I was out here for Halloween and got to go trick-or-treating with my niece, Tyler and my nephew, Boston (my youngest nephew, Ryder, didn't do trick-or-treating just yet this year...but he makes a very cute caterpillar!). Boston has trick-or-treating down to a science! He looks like an innocent two year old when he goes up to the door...but then he grabs a handful of candy and runs. It's awesome.

I also got to attend my parent's ward talent show. If you have never been to a ward talent show in Kentucky, let me tell you...you are missing out BIG TIME!!! This talent show was awesome to me because my mom had to do the Napoleon Dynamite dance with the rest of the YW Presidency. She was nervous, but did so good!! (and Kristin...remember when we were trying to learn that dance in my kitchen? I now have step-by-step instructions on how to do the dance! We will have to have a dance party and learn it!). My dad also had to perform in a skit and lipsync. All in all, a great time.

Another benefit to being in Kentucky is that my brother, Adam, and my Dad are die hard Utah Jazz fans...which means that I get all the games (NBA Pass), plus all the commentary. If you talk to me, I can pretend like I know what I am talking about when it comes to the Jazz. Not true...I just repeat whatever they say :) But seriously...Go Jazz!!

So I am so excited that I just posted. It's been forever! I'll try to do better (now that I'm here in Kentucky, there isn't as much to do...so I should be available to blog it up!)

yay yay yay! I am so glad to see that you have joined the blogging world again. Sounds like you had a sweet talent show. You should post video of your mom if you have it. Anyway, I hope you are back now. I am in SLC, so drop everything basically and we'll play.
